Took my girlfriend for a romantic meal at Signor Sassi - had high expectations after reading some of the reviews. Our waiter was good - funny and chatty. Food was really nice - good vegetarian food for my girlfriend. Probably wouldnt recommend it to others though - for the amount you'd spend there...

Signor Sassi was a great place for a business lunch. The staff were very welcoming and added to the ambience. The food was very good quality - and beautifully presented - Enjoyed the salad with artichokes to start and the seabass with mussels for the main course. No room for desserts though! My companion enjoyed her carpaccio to start and lobster with scallops for the main course. A very good experience for lunch!

Food is very good...a classic good Italian restaurant in London...specials are the veal escalope and grilled sole...well recommended overall, although quite pricey...but well worth the money....

I took my boyfriend to Signor Sassi for his birthday on a Monday night and the ambience and service were as lively, friendly and attentive as they would be on a Friday night. The food was excellent - my boyfriend thought the rack of lamb was the best he'd ever had. I would recommend this restaurant highly. Although I would have to limit future visits to special occassions only, seeing as it is very expensive.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
